     13 DESCRIPTION

     15 This command displays the buildids found in a perf.data file, so that other
     16 tools can be used to fetch packages with matching symbol tables for use by
     17 perf report.

     19 It can also be used to show the build id of the running kernel or in an ELF
     20 file using -i/--input.

     25 --with-hits::
     26         Show only DSOs with hits.
     27 -i::
     28 --input=::
     29         Input file name. (default: perf.data unless stdin is a fifo)

     32 	Don't do ownership validation.

     35 	Show running kernel build id.
