      4 This directory contains information, input files and scripts for
      5 packaging ICU using specific packaging tools. We assume that the
      6 packager is familiar with the tools and procedures needed to build a
      7 package for a given packaging method (for example, how to use
      8 dpkg-buildpackage(1) on Debian GNU/Linux, or rpm(8) on distributions that
      9 use RPM packages).

     11 Please read the file PACKAGES if you are interested in packaging ICU
     12 yourself. It describes what the different packages should be, and what
     13 their contents are.
