1 This directory contains the Microsoft Visual C makefile for building vboot 2 reference code (and testing, eventually) in a 32 bit DOS window. 3 4 Microsoft Visual C 2008 (or later) is the prerequisite for this to work. 5 6 To build vboot_reference tree in the DOS window do the following: 7 8 - untar or git clone the vboot_reference source tree 9 10 - open a DOS window 11 12 - run the MSVC provided script vcvars32.bat to create the command line build 13 environment. Script location is MSVC installation specific. For instance: 14 15 c:\> \bios\devtls\MSVC9\Vc\bin\vcvars32.bat 16 17 - define a directory where the nmake output should go into 18 19 c:\> set MOD=z:\shared\tmp 20 21 - start the make job as follows: 22 23 c:\> nmake /f %path_to_vboot_reference_tree%\msc\nmakefile 24 25 - observe the output generated in %MOD% 26
